Summary Of The Novel .
Dar e dil, "dar" the door and "dil" is heart, when we combine them it becomes door of heart, heart is the main part of body when it is working we are alive but when it stops life comes to an end, here someone is busy to knock at the door of heart. This love has many faces and every face has its importance.
Dilawar shah, Abdullah and Nabeel are friends. They are very close to each other and even with family. Nabeel has a sister named Madiha. Who is very intractable due to her behavior and attitude. Nabeel and his mother decide to go their home town but Madiha is proved to be a difficult task for them. Dilawar shah is very successful and famous lawyer. He treats Madiha as his sister so Nabeel gives him the task to convince her to go back to home town and by the great efforts of Dilawar she comes home.
"Bari Haveli " here Waqar Afandi is the head. He is an honorable person in the family and is ideal for Aleezeh his daughter. Aleezeh is younger in all the cousins and is loved one. Abdullah has a sister Zari and two brothers Malik Asad and Malik Haqnawaz. Asad and Haqnawaz wants to take Zari to Haveli but she wants to stay with Abdullah. Abdullah had love marriage with Nigarish. Zari love her so much that she refuses to go to Haveli. Zari loves Dilawar and Dilawar also loves her but they both respect each other to hide this love. They don't want to show this beautiful relation to anybody. Nabeel also love Zari but when he comes to know that Dilawar love her he steps aside while on the other hand when Dilawar know Nabeel' s feelings he steps aside as well but nobody tries to know what Zari wants.
Adeel is searching for the job but all in vain, in this frustration he committed suicide but is rescued. Then finally he gets a job in the car garage. One day he got an accident by Madiha's car. She takes her car to garage then she comes to know about Adeel’s work. Adeel has a sister named Maryam who is studying and she got irritated by boy name Jodat who had bad company and is Aleezeh ' s cousin.
Dilawar has a dark part of his life which makes him frustrated. This is related to his phupho Batool Shah. A lady to whom he instates as mother. Due to that dark part he makes a plan. Mansoor Hussain come to Mr. Waqar for job, he appoints him as Aleezeh’s driver and bodyguard when he earned Waqar’s trust he showed the marriage paper to Aleezeh and tell her that he is her husband. She is shocked and in this condition she cooperate Mansoor and ask her father to let her go with her husband. After that she faint and Mansoor take her with him.
Aleezeh is imprisoned in basement. Mansoor come to her and tells her that he is Dilawar shah and had made fake paper of their marriage, he actually wants to take revenge from her father. One day Batool come to see Dilawar and meet Aleezeh but she told her that he won't leave her and would be fair at the end. Batool dies in a road accident while going back her home. It was the big loss for Dilawar. Jodat kidnap Maryam and he takes her to an apartment.
Madiha hates her father because of his bad habits. He misbehaves with the girl Momna who is injured by Nabeel in an accident so he brings her home. When Dilawar come to know about her he asked Nabeel to give shelter in his home as she is special suspect of his case which is against Waqar Afandi. But when his father misbehaves with her he gets married with her. Dilawar get married to Aleezeh. When Zari come to know that she gets nervous breakdown and comma.
Someone wants to kill Dilawar but Aleezeh get injured then Dilawar come to know the importance of Aleezeh in his life so he went to "Bari Haveli " and apologize for his actions. When Aleezeh cured she went to bari haveli. Her decision made Dilawar so frustrated that he decided to divorce her. Then he visits to bari haveli tell them details of his revenge so Aleezeh decide to go back to Dilawar house. Dilawar accept her with open arms.
Adeel is upset because of Maryam. Jodat take Maryam to Dilawar and tell him about kidnapping. Then Dilawar arrange their marriage by taking Adeel confidence. Zari went to haveli as she accepts the fate and fact of life. On the death of Malik Asad every one stick together Nabeela Aziz has written so beautiful definition of "ishq "and " mohabbat " she has described so well that story binds you in the situation that it seems you are part of it.
